Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
BedrockBridge ("the app") is available for iPhone, iPad and Mac. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
The short version
- No accounts, no ads, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- The app sends anonymous usage statistics (which public servers are played and for how long) so we can see which servers are popular. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
- We never collect your name, email, contacts, location or IP address.
Anonymous usage statistics
Unless you turn off Settings → Share anonymous usage stats, the app sends these events to PostHog, our analytics provider:
- Relays: when one starts, stops or fails to start: the mode (LAN Game or DNS Redirect), the console type chosen in Settings, the server's public hostname and port (for example
donutsmp.net:19132), whether it came from the built-in list, how long the relay ran, and how many consoles joined. - Server list: when you add, remove or test a server: its public hostname and port, and whether the test succeeded.
- App use: when the app is opened, sent to the background, installed or updated.
- Technical details sent with each event: app version, device model, operating system version, language and screen size.
Events carry a random identifier created when the app is installed. It isn't linked to your Apple ID, name, email or any account, and deleting the app discards it. Names you give your own servers are never sent. Addresses that are raw IP addresses (such as a friend's home server) or local network names are replaced with "ip-address" or "local-network" before anything is sent. Our PostHog project discards IP addresses and location lookups are turned off, so we don't know where you are.
We use this data only to understand which servers people play on and to improve the app. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you across other apps or websites. PostHog stores it in the United States; see PostHog's privacy policy. Because the data isn't linked to you, we can't look up or separate events from a particular person; turning the setting off stops all further collection immediately and the choice is kept across launches. Development builds of the app never send statistics.
Data stored on your device
Your saved servers and settings (for example, which console you play on) are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.
Network connections the app makes
The app only connects to services needed to do what you ask:
- The game server you choose. In LAN Game mode the app forwards your console's game traffic to that server, and pings servers in your list to show player counts and latency. Those servers receive your public IP address and your console's game traffic, as they would if your console connected directly. Their own privacy policies apply.
- DNS Redirect mode. Your console's DNS lookups are forwarded to the upstream DNS server shown in Settings (Cloudflare
1.1.1.1by default), except for Featured Server lookups, which point to a third-party server-list server (changeable in Settings). Those providers' privacy policies apply. - Your local network. The app answers discovery messages from consoles on your local network and ignores devices outside it.
Traffic is relayed in real time and is not stored or inspected. The connection log on the Play tab stays on your device and you can clear it at any time.
